Prep and aftercare are essential for all beauty services because they prevent complications, ensure long-lasting results, and enhance the overall appearance. Proper prep creates an ideal foundation for treatments, while aftercare promotes healing and helps maintain desired effect. Together, they ensure a smoother process and greater client satisfaction. 

Here are the recommended prep and aftercare instructions for each service

  Cosmetic Tattoos - PMU  

PREP: Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, thread, or tint brows at least one week prior. Come with clean skin, free of makeup and skincare products.

AFTERCARE: First 5 days keep area dry, avoid getting area wet. Do not wash the treated area with water, cleanser, or soap. After day 3, apply aftercare ointment 2-3 times a day to keep the area moisturized. Always apply with clean hands. Avoid sweating, direct sunlight, and swimming during healing period. No touching or picking, please do not scratch or remove scabbed areas. Avoid applying makeup or skincare products on treated area until fully healed (7 to 10 days).

             Lash Lift           

PREP: Remove all eye makeup and avoid using waterproof mascara for 48 hours before the service. Ensure lashes are clean and dry.

AFTERCARE: Keep lashes dry for 24 hours after the lift. Avoid rubbing or using a lash serum for the first 24 hours. Do not use a lash curler until lash lift has completely wore away. Use a tiny amount of nourishing oil every night to ensure healthy, strong, moisturized lashes (provided with lash lift service).

       Lash Extensions       

PREP: Arrive with clean, makeup free lashes, avoiding oil-based products 24 hours prior. Skip mascara or lash curler on the day of your appointment. 

AFTERCARE: Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Avoid oil-based products and rubbing your eyes. Clean lashes regularly with a lash-safe cleanser provided in the kit to maintain longevity..

       Brow Lamination       

PREP: Avoid plucking or trimming your brows for at least a week before the appointment. Clean the brow area and avoid applying any makeup or oils. 

AFTERCARE: Keep brows dry for the first 24 hours. Refrain from applying makeup or using harsh skincare products on the brow area. 

       Brow Tint/Stain       

PREP: Arrive with clean brows free of skincare and makeup.

AFTERCARE: Keeps brows dry at least 24 hours after tinting/staining. Refrain from applying makeup, cleansers, oils, exfoliants, retinol, or other skincare products to the brow area during this period. When washing your face, use gentle motions around your brows to avoid disturbing the tint/stain.

   Brow/Facial Waxing   

PREP: Make sure your hair is long enough for the wax to grip 1/8 to 1/4 inch long is ideal. Avoid using retinol, AHA, or other strong skincare products at least 48-72 hours before your appointment to prevent skin sensitivity and irritation. Avoid sun exposure or tanning 24-48 hours before waxing. 

AFTERCARE: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, and sun exposure for at least 24-48 hours after waxing, as the skin will be more sensitive and more prone to irritation or burns. Avoid makeup and skincare for 24 hours after to prevent irritation and breakouts. Keep the area hydrated with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to help the skin recover faster.
